1968 LANCIA FLAMINIA GT SPORTS COUPE COACHWORK BY TOURING OF MILAN Registration No. RCD 662X (UK) Chassis No. 824.10.3802 Engine No. 823.10.14044 Dark blue with tan leather trim Engine: six cylinder, 60°V, 2,458cc, triple Weber carburettors, 140bhp at 5,600rpm; Gearbox: four speed manual. Brakes: discs all round; Suspension: front, independent, quadrilateral transverse link, coil springs, stabilizer bar; rear, tubular axle, stabilizer bar, leaf springs. Left hand drive. The 1957 Turin Salon was the stage for the unveiling of the Flaminia, as the replacement for the Aurelia. Pininfarina designed the standard coachwork. Two years later, in collaboration with Touring, Lancia introduced the Flamina GT. The wheelbase was shortened and top speed was increased to just under an amazing 120mph. This Superleggera Touring Flaminia was first registered in Turin in 1968. The car remained with its first owner for a short period when it was sold to its present owner who kept it in Rome and then Paris, coming to England some years ago. The vehicle is highly original and would benefit from restoration. Recently (1,700 has been spent in repairing the electrical system which suffered from a fire. The front half of the vehicle has been completely re-wired, including a new loom fuse board, regulator and starting box. The engine is in running condition and the owner confirms the low mileage of 73,402km is genuine. The vehicle has been stored for the last two years. The paintwork is poor and there are two slight dents in the bonnet. The interior is original and in need of some attention.
