D'abord, elle présente une forme élégante créée par Tom Tjaarda pour Ghia, qui se distingue aussi par son originalité et la possibilité de loger deux personnes aux places arrière. Ensuite, elle est équipée d'un moteur six-cylindres conçu par le talentueux Aurelio Lampredi, ancien ingénieur Ferrari. Dans sa version 2300 S, ce moteur avait été amélioré par Abarth, avec un collecteur d'admission équipé de deux carburateurs Weber double corps. Enfin, son aménagement est digne du statut qu'elle revendiquait, celui d'une des GT les plus rapides des années 1960, avec un beau tableau de bord sportif et un volant bois. Disposant de près de 150 ch, cette voiture pouvait dépasser 190 km/h, ce qui en faisait une voiture plus performante qu'une Lancia Flaminia Touring. La Fiat 2300 S que nous proposons a été importée aux Pays-Bas autour de 1997, puis achetée par un musée dans le sud du pays. Vers l'an 2000, elle est passée entre les mains d'un collectionneur allemand, qui l'a ensuite vendue en Belgique. Récemment, une révision complète a été effectuée aux Pays-Bas. Cette voiture élégante et peu commune est un véritable plaisir au volant, grâce aux qualités de son six-cylindres et au raffinement de son habitacle, digne des meilleures GT de l'époque.
