Beschreibung:

This car's accompanying British Motor Industry Heritage Trust copy factory record shows that DB6 Vantage chassis number '3208/R' was manufactured in September 1967 as a righthand-drive UK market model with Vantage engine (number '400/3262/VC'), chromed roadwheels, three-ear hubcaps, power assisted aerial, safety belts and 3.73:1 rear axle. The currently fitted engine - '400/2964/VC' - started life in 'DB6/2964/R'. (The 'VC' suffix indicates a Vantage with re-profiled inlet camshaft, a standard option from 1967). The car was sold new via Odeon Motors Ltd, of Barnet, Hertfordshire. Records indicate that it was resident in the USA in the 1980s, being entered by its owner-driver in the Monterey Aston meeting in 1989, where its master cylinder failed. The car was sold from that meeting into the ownership of Ken Boyd (of Aston Service Dorset, Needles, California) and Art Nisson (of British Motor Service, Orange, California). We are advised that an exceptional amount of money was spent on renovation between 1989 and 1996 with British Motor Service and various other Aston Martin parts suppliers, all receipts for which are included. The car subsequently enjoyed two or three different owners in the USA before being offered for sale through Ferrari of Los Gatos and purchased from them in August 1998 by Autosport Sales. Autosport subsequently sold the car to Paul Stefano, of Costa Mesa, California, buying it back from him in September 2002. Finished in Winchester Blue with matching leather interior, the car is presented in excellent condition in every department. It is offered for sale duties-paid and comes with owner's manual and fresh MoT.
