Beschreibung:

1966 VESPA 150 SCOOTER VIN No. 25150 Dark metallic blue with brown seats Engine: 150cc, c.7bhp at 5,000rpm; Gearbox: four speed handlebar shift; Suspension: telescopic forks to the front and oscillating arm to the rear; Brakes: front and rear drum. Originally they were most popular with students as a cheap and effective form of local transport yet even decades after their inception, Vespa has continued to build on the cult status it earned in the 1950s and 1960s when these practical scooters earned a cool image amongst various social cross sections. Impoverished teenagers and movie stars alike have long embraced these charming bikes and they continue to offer economical and chic travel with a charmingly nostalgic aura. This immaculate example was restored to a fastidious level by marque specialists Classical Wheels in 2002 and has since benefited from a new LML five port read valve induction engine. Of note is the generous specification which includes a 'buddy seat' and a full-size covered spare wheel which rests just ahead of the rider. Recently test ridden (at length) by the aforementioned photographer, the verdict was a resoundingly good one and as such we are delighted to recommend this groovy mode of transport. WITHOUT RESERVE
