Ancien champion moto, Francisco Bulto son fondateur commercialise sa première machine 125 cm3 de route surnommée Tralla qui ne tarde pas à briller également en compétition à travers le monde. Jamais restaurée et matching numbers, cette rare Bultaco TSS 125 est un monocylindre à refroidissement liquide équipée d'origine d'une boite 6 vitesses. Achetée neuve en 1965 à l'usine Bultaco par le pilote français Jean Auréal (Vainqueur du Grand Prix de France 125 cm3 1969 sur Yamaha) il l'utilisa dans le cadre du Championnat de France 1965 et 1966 avec un certain succès, notamment à Montlhéry où il termina troisième en juin 1965, premier en avril et septembre 1966, et deuxième en mai de la même année. Dotée d'un historique clair, Jean Auréal la vendit à la fin des années 60 à un collectionneur qui la conserva pendant 43 ans! Remise en route, l'allumage a été remplacé par un allumage électronique, mais l'allumage d'origine (bobine, rupteur) a été conservé et pourra être remonté. Complète à un détail près, il manque le manomètre de température d'eau, elle dispose de son manuel d'utilisateur Bultaco original et de son document de douane datant de 1965! Better known for its off-road bikes, it is sometimes forgotten that the Spanish company Bultaco originally specialised in motorbikes for road use and track racing. A former motorcycle champion, its founder Francisco Bulto launched his first 125cc road bike known as the ‘Tralla', and it soon achieved success in competition around the world. Never restored, this rare ‘matching numbers' Bultaco TSS 125 has a watercooled single-cylinder engine and was fitted as standard with a six-speed gearbox. Bought new in 1965 from the Bultaco works by the French rider Jean Auréal (winner of the 125cc class in the 1969 Grand Prix de France, on a Yamaha), he used it during the 1965 and 1966 French Championship with some success, notably here at Montlhéry, where he finished third in June 1965, first in April and September 1966, and second in May of the same year. With a clear history, Jean Auréal sold it at the end of the 1960s to a collector who kept it for 43 years! When it was recommissioned, the ignition was replaced by an electronic system, but the original ignition (coil and contact breaker) has been kept and could be refitted. The bike is complete bar one small detail - the water temperature gauge is missing - and it still has the original Bultaco owner's manual and customs papers from 1965!
