Entering production in 1961, the new TR4 was a wonderful mix of British brawn and Italian style Sharp new bodywork did away with the TR3's cutaway doors to allow for wind-down windows The torquey four-cylinder, twin-carb TR3 engine was enlarged to 2,138cc and mated to an all-synchro four-speed ‘gearbox On offer here is an original, UK-supplied, right-hand drive car that dates from 1964 Purchased by the deceased owner in 2000 as a project having been off the road for many years There is a small history file with receipts for the restoration carried out by its enthusiastic owner It's finished in Signal Red with silver wire wheels and a smart Tonneau cover The restoration was to a good standard, however, some items were never finished (non original seats/carpets need fitting/ door furniture etc.) Off the road for about a year, but is now running and driving and a simple project for a TR enthusiast
