Classic Car Auctions says: A beautifully presented 230 SL model with a four speed manual gearbox and was originally supplied as a European car from Germany. The car has a very good hard top and has undergone an extensive rebuild in America where it resided for some years prior to coming to the UK a few years ago. There is photographic evidence and receipts to verify the refurbishment work. We are told the car drives very well and has had a full service with a brake overhaul earlier this year. It has the original Becker radio which is supplied with the vehicle.
