Canadian title EU customs cleared Chassis n° 888261 Engine n° RA1148-9 - High quality restoration - Matching numbers - The purest version of the E-Type When it was launched at the 1962 Geneva Motor Show, the E-Type Jaguar made a huge impact. Such audacious styling was unheard of, and the streamlined design went hand in hand with an outstanding performance, thanks to the six-cylinder twin cam engine that made Jaguar's reputation, both in touring and in competition. The car on offer is exceptional. The colour combination of light grey with beige leather interior is unusually elegant, and what's more, this example has been fully restored by the Dutch company CRS Vreeland. The body, interior and engine have all been stripped down, and completely refurbished. The aluminium central section of the dashboard is perfect, and the seats have been magnificently recovered in beige leather. The first version of the E-Type coupé was the car that prompted Enzo Ferrari to exclaim: " It's the most beautiful car in the world! ". The one in our sale will permit any collector to acquire an example on which everything has been done, and which simply needs to be driven. PLEASE NOTE THAT CONTRARY TO WHAT IS WRITTEN IN THE PAPER CATALOG, THE VEHICULE HAS A CANADIAN TITLE.
