Beschreibung:

1963 JAGUAR E-TYPE 3.4 LITRE ROADSTER British Racing Green with beige leather interior and fawn hood. Engine: six-cylinder in-line, twin overhead camshafts, triple SU carburettors, 3781cc, 269bhp at 5500rpm; Clutch: single disc; Gearbox: manual four-speed with synchromesh; Suspension: front independent with double wishbone and torsion bars, rear independent with twin coil-spring/damper units on each side; Brakes: servo assisted discs all round; Left-hand drive. Once said to be 'the ultimate expression of racing experience being built into a road-going production car' the E-Type Jaguar was the star of the 1962 Geneva Show. Jaguar's creator Sir William Lyons' instinct for line, proportion and decoration resulted in a luxurious sporting car that was at the same time exquisitely lovely and aerodynamically efficient. It was just about the fastest car money could buy, offered fantastic value for money, and had road-holding, brakes and steering appropriate to a car capable in standard form of startling performance. Rebuilt in 1996, this car is described as being in 'fully restored condition' and has formed part of a private collection post-war cars. The Jaguar has Geneva registration papers.
