Son moteur TY8 était accouplé à une boîte automatique, la carrosserie était bleu Facel irisé avec une sellerie en cuir bleu 3015. La carrosserie fut intégralement refaite par Daniel Germain et la sellerie confiée à la société Serge Sellerie, une plaque en l'honneur de ces artisans a d'ailleurs été fixée dans le coffre. Bien évidemment, la mécanique, l'électricité et les trains roulants furent également restaurés. Ce modèle, clé de voûte de la collection, était la fierté d'Alain Ragault, il consacra plus de sept années à sa restauration dont il n'aura, hélas, jamais profité. En 2022, afin de parfaire la mise au point de l'ensemble, la voiture a été confiée aux excellents Ets Vega Passion, une facture de plus de 16 000 € détaille les travaux effectués. Produite à 184 exemplaires, la Facel II est la Facel Vega la plus aboutie de la lignée, la plus performante également, sans parler de l'élégance exceptionnelle de sa ligne, ni du luxe de son habitacle.
