1961 Citroën DS 19 cabriolet, conversion ailes Pichon-Parat No reserve Titre de circulation hollandais Châssis n° 7010387 - Collection Richard Reinders - Un des premiers cabriolets DS "usine" importée en Belgique - Intéressante transformation Pichon-Parat - Chantier de restauration prometteur - Sans réserve Cette voiture est un des premiers cabriolets DS 19 "usine", fabriqué dans les ateliers Henri Chapron et commercialisé sous le seul nom du constructeur. Il a été vendu neuf en Belgique, ce qui explique sa plaque de châssis indiquant "S.A. belge Citroën" avec un numéro d'identification spécifique. Par ailleurs, cette voiture a fait l'objet d'une transformation des ailes avant telle que la proposait l'atelier Pichon-Parat, à Sens : une opération bien rodée qui permettait d'intégrer les double-phares de la Panhard 24 et donner ainsi à l'avant de la voiture une ligne plus profilée et agressive. Le carrossier a effectué ce type de transformation à partir de 1964, jusqu'à ce que Citroën, qui s'en est inspiré, introduise en 1967 sa propre version à phares tournants. Rappelons que Pichon-Parat était l'atelier choisi par Raymond Loewy pour effectuer des transformations sur ses propres voitures. Cette DS cabriolet a été importée en 1983 aux Pays-Bas et a participé en 1999 au tournage du film hollandais "Lef". L'actuel propriétaire en a fait l'acquisition en 2003 et l'a utilisée régulièrement avant de la remiser il y a une dizaine d'années. Sans doute trop attaquée par la rouille, la plateforme avait été remplacée. Rare et originale, cette voiture en état "sorti de grange" constitue une bonne base pour celui qui cherche un cabriolet DS sortant de l'ordinaire et historiquement intéressant. It was sold new in Belgium, which explains its chassis plate indicating "SA belge Citroën" with a specific identification number. In addition, this car has been the subject of a transformation of the front fenders, as proposed by the Pichon-Parat workshop, in Sens: a well-honed operation that allowed to integrate the double-headlamps of the Panhard 24 and to give the front of the car a more streamlined and aggressive look. The coachbuilder made this kind of transformation from 1964, until Citroën, which must have been inspired by the former, introduced in 1967 its own version with swiveling headlamps. It may be worth remembering that Pichon-Parat was the workshop chosen by Raymond Loewy to perform transformations on his own cars. This DS cabriolet was imported in 1983 into the Netherlands and participated in 1999 in the Dutch film "Lef". The current owner acquired the car in 2003 and used it regularly before storing it a decade ago. Probably attacked by rust, the platform had been replaced. Rare and original, this "barn find" car is a good base for anyone looking for an unusual and historically interesting cabriolet DS.
