Beschreibung:

The Roadster was Porsche’s successor to the iconic Speedster of 1954-1958 and the one-year only 1959 Convertible D. Roadsters were built from 1960 through 1962, with the majority of them being the 1960-61, so-called “single-grille,” T5 body 356B model. Just under 3,000 Roadsters were built. Aside from their relative scarcity, Roadsters also are prized today because they have roll-up glass side windows while the top completely disappears below the rear cowl, as with Speedsters, giving a sleek appearance that the padded top cabriolets cannot match. This Roadster has two terrific selling points: It is all numbers-matching, and it is in a very attractive, period livery of Fjord Green with tan trim. The seller has been keen to point out that probably the area that stands out most on this particular car is its excellent all-original panel body with very fine panel fit and gaps, and all-new trim and glass. The underside of the car has also been completely refurbished and has a newly-applied Wurth undercoating. The interior is completely restored in leather, including the unique and very attractive Roadster door panels, the dash top, and of course, the seats—all properly sewn and fitted. Both top and interior were supplied by recognized specialists Autos International, this is topped off with tan rugs and new floor mats. During the rebuild, the instruments were restored by North Hollywood- and all the dash knobs are brand new. Mechanically, the car has been completely refurbished: engine, gearbox and shifter, suspension, and brakes, and all are reported to be in first rate working and cosmetic order. The wheels are proper 4.5” x 15” with Normal-engine-correct baby moons caps, and they carry brand new Vredestein 165 x 15 tires. For the number conscious aficionado, a factory Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the car and verifies its numbers-matching status.
