1958 Rollera No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n°025 Moteur n°125 3AB1823 - Incroyable et rare microcar - Récemment restaurée avec soin - A mi-chemin entre la voiture et la moto - Modèle fabriqué en France - Sans réserve Dans l'univers des microcars, ce tricycle Rollera occupe une place toute particulière, tant son dessin en forme d'œuf est aussi singulier que séduisant et tant sa rareté en fait un véhicule très prisé des collectionneurs. Cet incroyable petit engin à trois roues tient son nom du mot allemand " Roller " signifiant scooter. Il fut fabriqué en France sous licence, à Vichy dans les années 50. Son moteur, de marque AMC et de type Isard, est un monocylindre 2 temps de 124 cm3, développant environ 6 ch. Il est accouplé à une boite de vitesses à 3 rapports et la transmission se fait par chaine. L'unique occupant se retrouve face à un guidon et à un joli compteur de vitesses Jaeger et bénéficie du confort d'un pare-brise et d'une capote. Cet engin fut acheté par son actuel propriétaire en 2018 alors en pièces détachées et à restaurer. La rareté d'un tel engin n'a pas rendu la tâche facile à notre passionné mais il parvint à redonner vie à cet attachant 3 roues à force de recherches et de patience. Le châssis tubulaire fut repris, la carrosserie en fibre fut entièrement restaurée puis repeinte en rouge et enfin le moteur contrôlé puis remonté. Une sellerie et une capote noire neuves viendront compléter l'ensemble. On estime la production d'époque à environ 50 exemplaires et il n'en resterait aujourd'hui tout au plus qu'une poignée en circulation. Cet original et attachant tricycle, à contempler ou à conduire, fera à n'en pas douter le bonheur de son futur propriétaire. This incredible little three-wheeled machine takes its name from the German word "Roller" meaning scooter. It was manufactured in France under license, in Vichy in the 1950s. Its AMC engine was a type Isard, 124cc 2-stroke single-cylinder, developing approximately 6bhp. It is mated to a 3-speed gearbox and the transmission is by chain. The sole occupant is faced with a handlebar and a nice Jaeger speedometer, and enjoys the comfort of a windshield and a soft top. The one on offer was bought by its current owner in 2018, then in spare parts and to be restored. The rarity of such a machine did not make the task easy for this enthusiast, but he succeeded in bringing this endearing 3-wheeler back to life through considerable research. The tubular chassis was refurbished, the fiberglass bodywork entirely restored and repainted in red. The engine was checked and reassembled. A new black upholstery and soft top complete the restoration. It is estimated that around 50 were made, and only a handful survive today. This original and endearing tricycle, to just look at or to drive, will undoubtedly be a real delight for its future owner.
