Beschreibung:

The Autobianchi Bianchina is a supermini produced by the Italian manufacturer Autobianchi based on the Fiat 500 and available in a variety of configurations. The car was presented to the public on 16th September, 1957 at the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. Initially, the car was equipped with the smallest Fiat engine, an air-cooled 479cc producing 15hp. In 1959, the engine power was increased to 17hp. In the same year, the Trasformabile, whose engine cylinder capacity was increased to 499cc (18hp), was made available in a Special version with bicolour paint and an engine enhanced to 21hp. The Transformabile featured fixed B-pillar and partial roof as the rest of the opening was covered with foldable fabric hood. The cabriolet version had no B-pillar and was the only version to feature suicide doors. This superb Fiat 500 Bianchina has been part of a collection, based in warmer climates and is therefore in excellent condition. We are advised by the vendor, she starts and runs well with no known faults. Prior to going to press, we have been advised by the vendor he is attempting to obtain a heritage letter of conformity from Fiat. Manufactured as an original righthand drive model, this delightful cabriolet is sure to attract attention wherever she appears. Supplied with the necessary documentation to register her in the UK, this Bianchina cabriolet will enhance any collection.
