The poster was created by boxing manager Harry "Ping" Auber, and reads "You Pick The Boy. Harris Will Fight Him...Harris is only 19 years of age and has a record to be proud of. 65 FIGHTS. WON 62. WON 20 BY K.O. LOST ONLY 3. This Brownskin Boy Always Repeats As He Is CLEAN CLASSY COLORFUL." Tragically, in a March 1931 rematch against Mickey Buris, Harris failed to answer the Round 10 bell and lost consciousness. He subsequently fell into a coma and died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the fight.
