1903-48, an outstanding mainly mint collection in an album and containing many rare or unusual items including proofs and multiples, with 1903 Post Office essay of the Postal Coach design in red-brown with uncleared surround, issued (pink paper) series of seven in singles and blocks of four, (thick paper) 2L. orange imperforate corner block of four, and the complete set of fifteen overprinted "SPECIMEN" at the Natal Post Office, 1906 Forty Years' Rule series of seventeen imperforate values (including additional shades) to 2L all perforated "SPECIMEN", 1906 Jubilee Exhibition imperforate colour trials on card (4), perforated set handstamped "SPECIMEN" at the Natal Post Office, single sets (3) one is overprinted "SE" at the Bucharest Exhibition, and the set in blocks of four, 1L.50 imperforate proof with vignette inverted, 1908-14 series with imperforate colour proofs (including multiples), issued stamps with blocks and shades, 1913 Acquisition of Southern Dobruja imperforate colour trials (8) to 2L. on card, 1920 King Ferdinand with colour proofs in multiples, 1922 Coronation - various proof items including colour trials for six different values in six imperforate composite sheets of 46 values, 1926 King Ferdinand's Birthday - numerous proof items including imperforate colour trials in pairs and blocks (with 10L. error of colour), perforated values with the errors of colour - 6L. blue (9, with a block of four) and 10L. (8, with a block of four), imperforate between errors, 1930 King Carol II 5L., 7L.50, 10L., 16L. and 20L. imperforate blocks of four on watermarked paper, 1931 30L., 50L. and 100L. imperforate singles (2) and blocks of four, 1932 Stamp Anniversary set in multiples with sheets of fifty (5) to 7L.50, 1934-39 commemorative sets in mint imperforate pairs, 1939-40 Centenary sheets overprinted "BERLIN/1940" including inverted and double overprints; numerous covers throughout including addressed to President Roosevelt, W.W.I and W.W.II Feldpost, Red Cross and censored.
