Custis (1711-1757) was a wealthy Virginia planter whose widow, the former Martha Dandridge, married George Washington in 1759. Custis and Martha are also notable as being the great-great-grandparents of Robert E. Lee. Condition: Previously folded into sixths, with separation at the folds.
