Spine broken with text block split through in two places, pigskin darkened. First edition. "Highly esteemed" (Westwood & Satchell p 86). 2. [Chetham, James.] The Angler’s Vade Mecum…. London: Thomas Bassett, 1681. Lacks 6 text leaves (2 from preface). 8vo. Modern calf with old calf covers laid down. Incomplete, L7 defective and lacking text, reinforcement to title-page verso. Marginal foxing to plates (and in image of 1 lithograph), text block cracked, spine browned and chipped. First edition. Westwood & Satchell p 191. 5. Bates, Joseph. Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing. Harrisburg, PA: Stackpole Books, [1966]. Illustrated with line drawings by Milton Weiler; 8 color plates of flies; tipped-in color transparency from a photograph as frontispiece. 8vo. Full green morocco gilt; mahogany slipcase with streamer fly encased on cover. Lower panel of slipcase water-damaged, morocco sunned to brown where exposed in slipcase. Limited edition, letterpress colophon reading 1 of 24, but this lined through and annotated by the author that this is one of the 10 presentation copies. Signed by the author. Together, 5 volumes.
