A GEORGE II SILVER TWO-HANDLED PUNCH STRAINER, A GEORGE III TEAPOT STAND, A PAIR OF GEORGE II AND A PAIR OF VICTORIAN IRISH SALTS English silver all London, with maker's marks of: the strainer James Slater, 1727; the stand Wm. Stroud, 1795, the salts Dublin, 1849; IM (rubbed), the other pair marks rubbed, probably circa 1745 The rim of the deep circular pierced bowl issuing two trefoil shaped tab handles, one engraved with initials, the other pierced with hole-- length over handles 7in. (17.7cm.) ; the oval stand with canted corners, on four tapering supports-- 7in. (17.7cm.) long ; the the four salts matching, each gilt-lined circular, on three stepped hoof supports, the sides chased with large blossoms centering vacant cartouche-- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) diam., 11oz. (6)
